Profhilo is a highly effective injectable tool for tissue bioremodelling of the face and neck. Initially it produces a flush of hydration and then in subsequent weeks it stimulates collagen and elastin production. It improves skin sagging, hydration and elasticity and has a notable tightening effect.

Although Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid, it is not the same as fillers as it's role is to stimulate the skin to regenerate rather than provide immediate volume to deep wrinkles/folds. Profhilo is actually good for skin and is not stabilised with chemicals.

Profhilo is a two treatment procedure, administered with a four week interval. Some older skins may need three treatments. Full effects are apparent two months after the first injection.

After the procedure bumps similar to insect bites can remain for a few hours (occasionally up to 24 hours) until the Profhilo disperses.
